Merry Christmas - I woke up yesterday ... at 7 am . I had to run to the store to buy vanilla. Then the baking began. I made sugar cookies, chocolate chip cookies... and pumpkin bread. I worked my hiney off trying to get it all done. My foot was ACHING ... just terribly ... I went over to my sisters for dinner. It was a nice time started watching.. Despicable Me.  I think I fell in love with the character Agnes

She was so stinking cute.. her and her passion for unicorns. She reminds me a little of my former stepdaughter Rachel.  I am really missing my former step kids. But I am more and more convinced that ... the door is closed on that . ::sigh::  

I really enjoyed spending time with my family ...I went home after dinner on Christmas Eve... I had cried the whole day, starting in the shower , because I miss my Grandad and my grams soo much . It has been tough this Christmas.. That and the whole break up thing .. and just so much with the surgery. I have felt completely not myself. I feel like an old woman.. I totally walk like one. I was surprised that the WarEagle wanted to come over prior to me going to see my family and he had brought me a gift (some lotions and body sprays from bath and body works.)  I thought it was sweet even though all I could give him was cookies and pumpkin bread.  I got teary when I opened his gift.  conversation...

"Sorry rough day for me - been thinking about my Grandad all day"  Him " I know what you mean I keep waiting for him to pop around the corner singing or telling a story"  I nodded in agreement.  Then he left.  We had previously made plans for church and Christmas light looking and I was a little disappointed that he ahead chosen NOT to do this so I had made up my mind that if he didn't keep his word then I was going to be just ... DONE.  So I went to my sisters and did the above. Then I came home and me and my roommate Char finished frosting cookies and chatted. It was nice I love coming home and having someone to talk to.

So I went to bed and totally crashed.  I woke up at 7 and put my hair in pigtails and changed into my Christmas jammies. LOL I had to wear them to my sisters.. My mom that this was funny that i would actually wear jammies while driving over... I figured everyone else was in their jammies So I would be in my jams too.  So we opened gifts  I got a new coat... a shake weight ... a power band.. a couple gift certificates. I am especially stoked about the one to Hobby Lobby. I got a sweater.. and a pair of pants. It was a good holiday. We ate breakfast ... totally ate biscuits and gravy ... bacon .. yum.  then i fell asleep on the couch.  We finished watching despicable me ... (yes finally watched the end since we started it the day before.)  Afterward I went home and went to sleep for about 30 minutes .. When I woke up I took a shower and then made cranberry sauce for dinner at my sisters. So I went over had dinner and we played Scattegories. It was super fun. I went home and WarEagle came over .. we chatted for a bit and then he fell asleep on my recliner. I put a blanket on him and I went to bed. I fell asleep until like 140 and he woke me up so he could go home. I let him out and that was that.  I am actually feeling a lot better. Amazing really except for my foot ...But that will get better with time... 2011 is this week .. I say fuck off 2010 I am ready for my new better awesome year. xoxoxo
